Easter in Cairo 2015: Special Rates, Offers & Packages at the Top Cairo Hotels

Easter is but a few days away and with it comes a whole host of room rates, special dining options and other Sham El Nessim activities across Cairo’s top hotels – which will be welcome news to those staying in the city, while friends and family bolting it to the nearest beach.
But worry not; we’ve compiled the best offers from the likes of Fairmont Nile City, Kempinski Nile and Conrad Cairo.
Never to miss out on an occasion, Fairmont Nile City is hosting a smorgasbord of Easter fun, with a special Easter Brunch taking place at the hotel’s Skypool on Monday 13th. With a buffet covering all manner of cuisine, live music and a special kids’ corner, all this can be had for 300++ per person.
Fairmont is also offering a special room package that, for 1900LE, serves up a Double Deluxe Room for two with breakfast and the Easter brunch. Conrad’s Easter room package is quite something; 1600LE goes a long way this Easter, with the deal including a Double Room (check in on Sunday 12th), dinner and live entertainment at Solana, brunch at Jayda the next day, free gym access and late checkout (6PM). For reservations, call 02-2580-8000.
No Nile-side hotel makes as good a use of its view as the Kempinski Nile does and the Garden City hotel is celebrating Easter this year with Monday 13th. With a spread of fine foods, a special kids’ corner and activities as well as specially tailored buffet for the little ones, too, there’s plenty to keep everyone happy. With a stunning view of the Pyramids and history and nostalgia around every corner, Mena House is one of the most unique hotels in Cairo. This Easter, the hotel is offering special room rates starting at 1600LE – a package that includes breakfast, lunch and access to a special kids playground. For reservations, call 02-33 77-3222.
As another atypical hotel in Cairo, Giza’s Four Seasons First Residence isn’t taking Easter lightly this year, with plenty on offer for the whole family. The hotel’s restaurant, Aura, is hosting a special ‘Sham El Nessim Day’, with all kinds of foods, live entertainment and plenty of activities for the kids at 330LE++ per person. Over the river in Garden City, the other Four Seasons is hosting several Easter specials. Lebanese restaurant, Zitouni, hosts a special brunch between 1PM and 6PM on Sunday 12th and Monday 13th, while the latter day will also see the eatery hosts a special breakfast buffet.
Monday will also see Pool Grill host a set-menu lunch between 1PM and 7Pm, with live entertainment and kids’ activities to boot. Meanwhile, the hotel’s special room rates kick in as early as Wednesday 8th, starting at 1400LE++. For reservations, call 02-2791-7666.
Where do we start? There’s a lot – and we mean a lot – of food-based Easter shenanigan sat the Marriot in Zamalek. Kicking off on Sunday, Roy’s Country Kitchen is hosting special lunch (160LE++) and dinner (190LE++) buffets, while The Bakery is laying out a spread of special Easter goodies.
On Monday, meanwhile, Omar’s Cafe and Promenade cafe are offering Easter breakfast (155LE++), which will make way for a brunch buffet (155LE++) in the afternoon. In addition, special Easter room rates start at 1600LE++. For reservations, call 02-2728-3000.
With up to seventeen restaurants, cafes, bars and lunges, there’s always something to do at Fairmont Heliopolis and this Easter sees the hotel serve up special ‘Sham EL Nessim Brunches’ at both Aqua E Luce and Egyptian Nights. For reservations, call 16989
A huge barbeque awaits at JW Marriott, with more kids’ activities on offer, as well as Easter breakfast and lunch buffets at Mirage Café. This is in addition to special room rates which start at 2750LE++, which includes breakfast. For reservations, call 02-2411-5588.
Dusit Thani stands as possibly the most popular hotel in New Cairo and for good reason. The Thai chain’s trademark fusion of western elegance with eastern tradition has won it many a fan and there’s plenty on offer this Easter.
