Cheer up, folks, it’s Eid. While it’s absolutely amazing to seize the opportunity and spend the vacation out of town, Cairo, with its low traffic and its variety of events, will keep you entertained. Here’s the deal:
On Wednesday, Egyptian poet Amr Hassan takes to the stage to recite some of his works to the sound of live music, Coldplay cover band Strawberry Swing take to the stage at The Tap West, DJ Feedo spins some R&B and hip-hop tunes at Cairo Jazz Club, while DJ Noubi is on the menu at The Tap Maadi’selektronight.
When Thursday comes, Al Hezb El Comedy takes to the stage at 3elbt Alwan for a stand-up comedyshow, Black Theama sing various contemporary Arabic tunes at El SawyCulturewheel, while multinational bandRadio Yemen takes to the stage at Alrab3 for a round of Yemeni songs.
The night also sees Gravity playing genres like soul, funk, and R&B on the stage at Cairo Jazz Club, DJ Shiha serving a round of deep/tech house numbers at Cairo Jazz Club 610, and DJ Mobbz taking to the decks at The Tap Maadi for a round of R&B and hip-hop tunes.

As for Friday, Aly Eissa takes to the stage at ROOM Art Space for a night ofOriental music, El Mawlaweya El Masreya serve a spiritual night at El Sawy Culturewheel, while Alexandrian rock band QararEzala take to the stage at 3elbt Alwan.
Delving deeper into the night, DJs Hady Tarek, and Omar Tarek play some deep house at Cairo Jazz Club, while DJunkie takes to the decks at Cairo Jazz Club 610, while The Tap Maadi’s house night sees Moez, and FrogMoose hitting the decks. More house music on Friday, with Ayman Nageeb heading to The Tap East’s decks, while it’s all about hip-hop and R&B at The Tap West, where DJ Feedo is on the menu.
Saturday sees Omnia Hassan singing various tunes at El Sawy Culturewheel, Mazeek playing a round of Oriental tunes at Cairo Jazz Club, while DJ Teddy spins a round of pop hits at The Tap West. This long vacation comes to a finale with DJ Kashouty takes to the decks at The Tap East, while it’s all about rock and blues at The Tap Maadi, with Gummy Bears taking to the stage.
