Seized

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King

In this final part of the LOTR trilogy, directed by Peter Jackson, Frodo (Elijah Wood) and Sam (Sean Astin) are led by the malicious Gollum (Andy Serkis) up Mount Doom to destroy the One Ring, unaware of his true intentions. Meanwhile, the rest of the fellowship’s members get ready to fight Sauron (Sala Baker) and his armies at Gondor. This fantasy film has been a fan-favourite since its release in 2003. This dramatic Korean thriller is a new take on your classic zombie movie. Written and Directed by Il Cho, #Alive shows the spread of a strange disease that causes people to turn into zombies. Based on a 2019 novel by Matt Naylor titled “Alone”, the movie tells the story of Oh Joon-woo (Yoo Ah‑In), a gamer who locks himself in his Seoul apartment to survive the disease. Before long, he finds that his neighbour, Kim Yoo-bin (Park Shin-Hye), is a survivor as well. They team up together and fight to stay alive.

The Reckoning

Set in 1600s England, The Reckoning tells the story of Grace Haverstock (Charlotte Kirk). Accused of being a witch after her husband’s death during the Great Plague, Grace is taken and imprisoned by Judge Moorcroft (Sean Pertwee), a callous witch hunter. As she fights to survive the emotional and physical torture to which she’s subjected, Grace is also forced to face her inner demons as they mess with her mind. Directed by Neil Marshall, this horror movie will definitely keep you up at night.
