A healthy, nutritious breakfast is beneficial for an excellent start to your day. But if you don’t have enough time (or you’re too lazy) to cook, smoothies are like an “all-in-one” drink that gives you that boost of energy you need, and they’re also delicious! Here are eight smoothie recipes for you to try.

Berry Blast

Starting off the list is a combination of strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, yoghurt, chia seeds and ice. Simple and no mess! By offering a good dose of fibre, chia seeds and berries help control your metabolism, while yoghurt helps you retain a healthy stomach.

Tropical Twist

It’s basically summer in a glass! Just blend mango, kiwi, pineapple, and orange juice, and you’re good to go. These tropical fruits are full of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants to make you feel as energised as possible.

Breakfast Boost

THE breakfast smoothie is a mix of oats, strawberries, milk (any milk of your liking), chia seeds, honey, and almond butter. Sustained energy will provide you with the balanced fats in almond butter, and chia seeds will fill you up until lunch.

Chocolate Swirl

You might be asking, “How is chocolate healthy?” Well, dark chocolate is known to be healthy since it usually contains less sugar than milk chocolate, and it is a rich source of antioxidants and minerals. Blend coconut milk, dark chocolate (powder or pieces), blueberries, banana, spinach, almond butter, and finally, ice to give you that frothy feeling.

Banana Strawberry

It’s an easy and go-to smoothie for anyone. Just blend in banana and strawberry with your choice of milk, and you’re good to go, simple, tasty, and nutritious!

Pineapple Mango Smoothie

Pineapples protect the body from infectious infections, aid digestion by cleansing the organs and blood, improve your energy intake, and increase metabolism. They also nourish your hair, skin, nails, and teeth. Plus, it tastes fantastic! Blend mango, pineapple, banana, mint leaves, coconut water, and coconut milk (depending on how thick you want your smoothie)!

Mango Strawberry Smoothie

Sweet and full of antioxidants, it’s the perfect springtime smoothie! It’s strawberry season, so might as well get them fresh now and blend them with mango, red grapes, peaches, yoghurt, chia seeds and cold-brewed green tea.

Avocado Smoothie

Last but not least, an underrated smoothie ingredient is avocado, which is the perfect source of vitamins C, E, K. It’s as simple as it sounds: blend banana, avocado and your milk of choice and voila, your smoothie is served!
