February has been hailed for many years as the month of love. While some focus all their energies on expressing how they feel on that special Valentine’s Day, others take the whole month as an opportunity for romance. So whether you’re the former or latter, or even a single person looking to enjoy some good music, we’ve got the lowdown for you on all the hot concerts in February.

Egyptian pop star Mohamed Hamaky will be kicking things off this Thursday with an early Valentine’s Day celebration at Al Shams Club. Next up, the talented Syrian songstress Faia Younan will be delighting audiences with her majestic voice on Saturday, February 9 at The Marquee Theatre in New Cairo.

Cairo Opera House joins the festivities next on February 12 with the magnificent Medhat Saleh kicking off the first Valentine’s Day concert. On the next day, Riham Abd El Hakim will be taking to the stage, and on the third day, the real Valentine’s Day, superstar Hany Shaker will be lighting up the Opera House with his unique voice and talent. If you’re looking for another unique Egyptian voice, you can make a trip of it and head to Alexandria to catch Ali El Haggar’s performance at Sayed Darwish Theatre.

As for the man you’ve all been waiting for, Egyptian megastar Amr Diab has already made plans for a huge concert on February 22 at MUST’s theatre, and rumour has it he’ll have an earlier gig at one of New Cairo’s hotels on Valentine’s Day.

If you’re looking for something more fresh and unique, you can catch an epic concert at the theatre in Al Manara International Conference Center in New Cairo on February 15. The show will feature Afrojack, the Dutch DJ landing in Egypt for the first time ever, joined by the hugely popular band, Sharmoofers. The night will also feature Disco Misr and Arrab.

You can also head to New Cairo’s Royal Maxim Palace Kempinski for a regal concert on Thursday, February 14 featuring the hugely popular Egyptian pop star Mohamed Hamaki, joined by the stunning Lebanese pop singer, Maya Diab.

Finally, you can opt for a more relaxing night, and head to The Marquee Theatre for a concert featuring international Lebanese songstress Hiba Tawaji with the talented musician Oussama Rahbani, joined by the Sphinx Symphony Orchestra led by Dr. Hany Hassan.
