Sheikh Zayed has been in development for a long time now, and who would’ve imagined that this deserted land would become the hot spot that it is today. Filled with shopping outlets, cultural hubs, business centres, and tons of restaurants serving delicious food, Sheikh Zayed has most definitely come a long way. Today, we’re bringing you our comprehensive list of top places to hit if you’re looking to get your munch on at Sheikh Zayed and/or 6th of October City

Zack’s Fried Chicken

Good fried chicken on a budget, Zack’s Fried Chicken may not have the most premium ingredients, but it definitely has the bang for the small buck. Innovative sandwiches plus a few pastas make this a go-to for tasty and affordable fast food.

Good Stuff Eatery

One of the newest restaurants to hit Sheikh Zayed, the American franchise is home to delicious burgers, chicken sandwiches, and hand-cut fries. While portions are somewhat on the small side, and prices definitely on the expensive side, this venue is nonetheless still the perfect place for a guilty pleasure.

Chicken & Ribs

Located in Westown Hub, Chicken & Ribs offers arguably the best fried chicken in town. Healthier options are available with their slow-roasted chicken, and meat lovers can opt for their slow-cooked BBQ ribs. You can even add more variety with some Butcher’s Burger dishes.

Spaghi Spaghetteria

Heaven for pasta lovers, Spaghi has premium ingredients, diverse dishes, and a whole lot of flavour. It will take you a bit of time to settle on your order, thanks to the variety in their menu, but nearly all dishes will be a home-run.

Olivo

Located in Arkan Plaza, Olivo made its name as one of the best pizza bars in town. Artistically crafted pizzas but for quite a steep price.

Tamara Lebanese Bistro

Exactly what you’d want out of a Lebanese dining experience. Perfect for going oriental while maintaining a lot of an upscale restaurant experience. Delicious food, huge variety, and gorgeous ambiance.

Lebanese Diner

There seems to be an oversaturation of Lebanese restaurants in Cairo, but this diner is definitely in the top of the crop. Lebanese Diner put itself high in the ranks thanks to its unique twist on your usual Lebanese cuisine..

Ted’s

Launching a new branch in the vast Capital Business Park, Ted’s was able to reach a larger audience with its tasty dishes, refreshing drinks, and sweet desserts. Ted’s strives to offer an experience of a restaurant and a lounge. So talk, eat, and drink, as they say. A perk of dining at Sheikh Zayed’s branch is that you can order your favourite sushi rolls from Mori Sushi, located right next door.

Casper & Gambini’s

While Casper & Gambini’s is a restaurant suited for lunch or dinner, having breakfast at this spot will be a decision that you will thank yourself for making. Whether it’s their delicious eggs, or refreshing drinks, having breakfast at Casper & Gambini’s will make your day.

Lucca Steakhouse

Meat lovers must try this place at least once in their lifetime. Their ingenious dishes are elevated by premium meat cuts making for an excellent fine-dining experience. Steaks as they should be.

Izakaya

Premium dining experience is available at this Japanese-Peruvian fusion restaurant. Izakaya will stun you with its dishes, and maybe even confuse you at times.
