Baking can sometimes feel pretty much like putting together a magical potion. You mix a bunch of ingredients, place them in an oven, and VOILA, you’ve got yourself a savoury meal, a dessert, or both (depending on how good of a baker you are, of course). How awesome is that?

Because many events are often celebrated with baked goods, you will find that you don’t even need the holiday season to justify and satisfy your craving for an amazing cake or brownie. Additionally, baked goods are something a lot of us eat for breakfast; you know it’s going to be a great day when you start it with a perfectly baked croissant.

Speaking of baked goodies for breakfast, a group of young Egyptian entrepreneurs have come up with Breadfast: an online bakery store that is proudly the first of its kind in the country. It serves freshly baked items, delivered early in the morning to your doorstep!

Mostafa Amin, Muhammad Habib, and Abdullah Nofal have developed a venture where you can order your daily needs and expect it to show up at your house before you hit your routine, be it going to work, or heading to school or university.

The system accepts orders until 10 pm for the following day’s breakfast order. Purchase all your needs from a humongous variety of bread, an assortment of flavoured croissants, savoury muffins, Danish, and milk and juices. The baking process starts around midnight and finishes by 5 AM. Then the deliveries take place between 5 AM and 11 AM.

Having to face the fact that people have been dependent on traditional local bakeries for ages has made the food operation a bit of a struggle for the founders, but by employing the best and most qualified bakers, they are overcoming the challenges and building an ever-growing fan base.  

They currently operate in New Cairo, Madinaty, Al Rehab City, Nasr City, Oraby, Maadi, Mokattam, Heliopolis and El Shorouk City.
