‎ Rose & Berry’s Bouquets: One Half Goes to Your Vase, And the Other Goes to Your Mouth

Years ago, saying that you’ve received a bouquet meant nothing but receiving flowers; nowadays, with practicality and modern times romance, it could mean anything. It could be a fruit bouquet, a chocolate bouquet, or even more romantic, a chicken nugget bouquet; funny days we are living in, right?

We stumbled upon this Instagram account that handpicks the best of both world’s, offering bouquets that gather both roses and berries. As a junkie who’d rather fight their allergy with antihistamines than going easy on the berries, in Rose & Berry we found the combination that will equally satisfy the poetic, and the addict inside of us.

The first thing we did was approach the owners of the project, by sending a DM with a host of questions to get a better scope of this venture. It took almost no time to have the answers we were looking for.

Rose & Berry is owned by three girls (names undisclosed) whose inspiration came from a place in the US called Edible Arrangements, which offers assorted fruit vases. The local brand’s name suggests exclusivity to a seasonal family of fruits that is due to disappear in a matter of weeks, so what will happen in spring and summer? Rose & Berry is ready for the seasons with more edible offerings, including apples, peaches, and apricot – sounds cute, or should we say peachy – as well as a round of dried fruits.

Our next question was rather ridiculous – or stupid – but we wanted to know how the brand ensures the freshness of the product. After all, receiving withered flowers is one thing, but rotten fruit that is supposed to be eaten is another. The answer? Well, Rose & Berry prepare the order on the same of delivery, keeping it in an icebox on its trip to the recipient so everything is as fresh as it can be. And how does one place an order? All you need to do is DM the brand on Instagram two days before the delivery date.

Prices? This question hasn’t been thoroughly answered, but all we can say that Rose & Berry’s range of prices start at 350LE. Hefty, indeed, but quite reasonable for the amount of effort, care, and pricey elements used.
